Mazda offers a mild hybrid version of the Mazda MX-30 in select markets. The mild hybrid system, known as Mazda M Hybrid, combines a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder gasoline engine with a small electric motor and a 24V lithium-ion battery. The electric motor provides additional torque to the engine, which improves acceleration and overall performance, while the battery is charged through regenerative braking.The combined power output of the Mazda M Hybrid system is 114kw and 200nm of torque, which is slightly higher than the output of the standard gasoline-only engine. The system is designed to be efficient and eco-friendly.
