Surrounding contour lighting and striking area-light graphics reinforce its expressive presence, with three characteristic light animations available for an even more memorable display.

Precise lines flow through the cabin to create a wraparound design that seamlessly unites cockpit and doors. After dark, ambient lighting puts on an impressive display of harmoniously coordinated colours. Dynamic light patterns³ move in sync with the interior displays to create a unique atmosphere.

Customise the Central Display in your BMW i3 with your own personal background image. Just use the My BMW App to upload your favourite photo straight to the vehicle. The ambient lighting adapts automatically to match its colours, tying the whole interior together in one seamless look.⁴
Back on the road in minutes.
The completely new generation of high-voltage batteries with 800-volt technology enables ultra-fast DC charging power of up to 400 kW⁷. That means just 10 minutes of charging can add up to 320 - 423 km of range to your BMW i3 50 xDrive Sedan.²

This, as well as the charging performance depend on vehicle equipment, the state of charge and health of the battery, battery temperature, individual driving profile, use of auxiliary users, ambient temperature, and the charging power provided at the charging station.
